Between the shadows where the flames conspire, two figures entwined, a dance by fire, 

 A slow waltz in the realm of the daring, as destiny's whispers are quietly sharing. 

Close to the edge where danger blooms, they dance with a fire that consumes 

 the flickering heat, a tantalizing thrill, as life and death play a game of skill. 

The firelight gleams in their fearless eyes, as if mocking the impending demise 

       yet they revel in the danger's embrace, Defying the odds, they continue the chase. 

The dance mirrors life on a precarious wire,  A thrilling performance fuelled by desire

for in the face of mortality's ire

they slow dance beside the fire

   A fierce empire. 

The flames leap higher

Their passion untamed, as if the cosmos itself were renamed, 

they find their stride, two souls ablaze, hearts open wide. 

No tears for the future, no regret for the past 

only this moment, in which they're steadfast 

with adrenaline pumping, they dance on the edge

Living with urgency, as life's final pledge. 

The fire's wild trance, they dance

and they whirl, taking a chance

for in life's last moments they aspire

to slow dance beside the fire, a thrilling pyre.
